Boyd House
The Boyd-Iriwin house resides in the valley of Maunawili. The house was built during the 1860's and 1870’s. It was a place where many Hawaiʻi Aliʻi (Royalty) visited. There are community groups actively trying to save this important historical structure for future generations.
While this site is outside of the Waimānalo/Maunalua traditional ahupua’a division, Maunalua.net felt it important to show other community groups in their areas becoming active in the pursuit of protecting and preserving the sacred historic and cultural sites in their area.
Maunalua.net visited this historic site with Dr. Paul Brennan
